Heaton park parkrun is cancelled this week as the Parklife Festival is taking place over the weekend which could mean two things - we could see an increase in the number of runners, who will be more than welcome to join us, and this will, obviously, put more pressure on parking if that is the case.
What we'd suggest is that you arrive a little earlier to ensure you can find a parking space in time or alternatively think about car-sharing or using an alternative method of transport to get to the run. If you do have to come in the car, there is parking for an hour along Monton Road in the parking bays or on the car-park near the crossing. There is a small charge for this car park.
